The purpose of the FLO-VAC Safety Nozzle is for the dispensing of gas-emitting fluid products, including glutaraldehyde,   

In an indoor environment where vapors from the fluids can overcome the breathing zone. This safety nozzle is not intended for use with explosive volatile fluids.  

Reduces Harmful Vapor   

Pulls a 360° vacuum around the exiting fluid and contains the harmful vapors from escaping into the breathing zone.  

No Splashing/Glugging  

Provides a smooth non-interrupting flow stream along with a variable on/off control valve.  

How the FloVac Safety Nozzle Works  

Once the variable on/off control valve has been opened, fluid begins to flow out of the inner spout at a rate chosen by the operator. As the fluid exits, a vacuum is created inside the container which draws vapors back inside via the outer spout.  Once the required amount of fluid has been dispensed, the valve is then shut off, trapping the captured vapors inside the container where they are transformed back into their liquid state.  

Cleaning the Nozzle  

Cleaning the safety nozzle is as simple as breaking it down and rinsing it (no tools needed).  

Glut-Neut is a glycerin-based glutaraldehyde neutralizing powder. Pour it into your glut pan and in 5 minutes, the glutaraldehyde is neutralized and is non-toxic and environmentally safe for disposal into sanitary sewers. Glut-Neut will not stain soaking containers, sinks, etc. It is safe for automatic scope washers.
