Flex uses the body's own temperature to activate the martensitic reaction. Its
unique properties allow you to insert a larger rectangular archwire earlier
in treatment with less patient trauma. Leveling and aligning can be started
earlier and, in many cases, without the use of smaller round wires or
stranded rectangular archwires. Pliable at room temperature or colder. Lower
forces than superelastic. Greater working range.
