INFIX is made of grade 5 Titanium, the preferred
metal for all implants. INFIX TADs
comes in two lengths and two diameters.
Each TAD has a cross-slot design that can accommodate a rectangular
wire up to 21x25. There is a second
slot for connecting wires. Each TAD
has a 0.7mm hole (approx. .028) in the neck for a round wire, ligatures, or
auxiliaries. The corners of the
INFIX TAD are rounded for patient comfort.
INFIX comes with a HEX screwdriver and insertion
tool. The tool fits over the head
and the base of the implant, disbursing pressure during insertion which makes the post less
likely to break during placement.
INFIX TADs and drill bits are sterile and come in
sterile packaging. The INFIX
Starter Kit comes complete with four implants and drill bits, the insertion
tool and the HEX screw driver.
Individual part may also be ordered separately.
INFIX TADs are FDA-ISO-CE certified.
