The reproduction of the threaded part of the expander relies on the curing of the resin, assuring a perfect fit for each single screw and eliminating any tolerance problem. The screws have a plastic retention tab for easy placement into the acrylic plate and protection during acrylic application. Yellow plastic directional arrows are visible only from the occlusal side of the palate.
