Our
Buccal Tube line offers miniaturized cast buccal tubes with rounded
surfaces
for exceptional patient comfort and acceptance.
• Torque-in-base
buccal tube designs for easier alignment
• Optimal
functional occlusion and case finishing
• Convertible caps are welded and brazed to avoid
unwanted conversion
• Most
conversion caps have an extended tab to facilitate removal.
Simply
"peel" the cap away using a Weingart or How plier
• Smooth
recessed convertible caps reduce soft tissue irritation
• Malleable
ball hooks can be positioned away from soft tissue to avoid irritation or
potential food traps
• Headgear
tubes are chamfered to ease insertion of facebows.
• Headgear
tubes incorporate a distinctive tie wing design for secure ligation following
archwire slot conversion
• Convertible
bracket slots are chamfered in all four planes, making archwire insertion
fast
and effortless
• Convertible
buccal tubes incorporate a true "twin" bracket tie wing design to aid in
ligation
• Upper
and lower combination tubes are offset from the gingival to avoid tissue
impingement
• Molded
compound-contour base designs provide proper fit and appliance expression
• All
buccal tube designs are also available with an 80 gauge foil backed mesh base
for
direct bonding. Bases are brazed using precious metal materials to eliminate
base
to
buccal tube separation.
We offer three different
pad designs to fit your needs. When ordering our bondable buccal tubes,
please be sure to choose between our extended indented pad, small indented
pad, or small pad designs. Each pad design is outlined below so you can be
sure that the buccal tube you order fits your treatment needs.
Pad Design Details
- Developmental Indent Our buccal
tubes were designed with easy placement in mind. Precise positioning is
critical in establishing an effective treatment and avoiding occlusal
interference with opposing teeth so we designed our bond pads with
pronounced developmental indents to make it easy to locate the optimal
bonding position.
- Unique Pad Design Our buccal
tubes feature a compound radius on the pad that mirrors the unique
contour of a molar's clinical crown. A uniquely crafted distal gingival
cutout allows for bonding of partially erupted molars without
sacrificing the size and strength of the bond pad.
- Molded Compound Contour Base Base
anatomically conforms to the tooth and provides proper fit and appliance
expression.
- 80 Gauge Foil Mesh Each of the
three pad configurations feature and 80 gauge foil mesh bond pad, sure
to meet all your treatment needs.
