Retention equal
or greater than mesh bonding pads. Pylons function as anchors embedded into
adhesive while the pylon surface finish maximizes bracket retention. Pylons
are placed at an acute angle to the torque, generating geometric undercuts
when bonded.

OPENING
TECHNIQUE
The tip of an explorer easily opens the clip on the Legacy SL
bracket.

Place the tip
of the explorer against the semi-circular alignment guide.

Pull the
explorer toward the incisal to open the clip.

of the explorer in the circular opening of
the clip.

Pull the
explorer toward the incisal to open the clip.

When opening the clip, you'll hear a click when the clip
disengages from the top lock, and a second click when the clip is fully
open.
Close the clip with a utility plier, tweezer, or your
fingertip by applying pressure to the occlusal side of the bracket. You'll
hear a click when the clip disengages from the bottom lock, and a second
click when the clip is securely engaged.
