The Next
Generation in Aesthetic Brackets.
Beyond
ceramic. Beyond sapphire. Beyond composite.
|
|
Avair™
brackets are almost invisible on the teeth for near-perfect aesthetics.
These
photos show how the brackets pick up and reflect the color of the bases they're
placed upon.

INNOVATIVE
MATERIAL
Avair™
brackets are made from a hybrid biocompatible material that is a dispersion
of acrylic and two different copolymers, with a small amount of
polycrystalline alumina for increased strength. The material for Avair™ is
the most sophisticated and advanced stage of technology and science.
Avair™
brackets are clear and stain-resistant. The material of the Avair™ bracket
won't deform during treatment like standard composite brackets, and won't
wear like common polyurethane and bicarbonate materials. Avair™ delivers
orthodontic forces without the brittle and abrasive characteristics of
sapphire or ceramic, but its shore hardness prevents teeth from being damaged
as with ceramic brackets. This bracket will not shatter or break during
debonding.
MECHANICAL
LOCKING BASE
Avair™
brackets have a textured base for a secure bond every time. No special
adhesives, additional coatings, or treatments are necessary.
CLINICAL BENEFITS
This chart shows
the superior torque strength of the biocompatible copolymer acrylic
dispersion material of Avair™ compared to traditional aesthetic brackets.
|
|
• High material stability
• Maximum tie wing strength
• Torque fracture resistance,
better than PCA ceramic
•
High abrasion resistance
|
BONDING AND
DEBONDING
|
The
Avair™ Bracket System is easily bonded to and removed from a tooth.
For debonding the
brackets, we recommend the Aesthetic Debonding Instrument shown here. This instrument
grips the entire bracket firmly at the bracket and tooth interface to
ensure a clean, smooth removal without breaking or shattering.

ADDITIONAL
FEATURES
• Avair™ brackets feature a low profile for
reduced occlusal interference.
• Tie wings are smooth and rounded for
maximum patient comfort.
• The generous tie wing area keeps ligatures
securely placed and allows for ligating with
ties and chain, separately or together.
• Avair™ brackets are almost invisible on the
teeth for near perfect aesthetics.
• Avair™ brackets are available separately or
in cases 3x3, 4x4, 5x5 with or without
hooks.
